Stavanger in the finals of Norway's Most Attractive City award
According to the jury of Norway’s Most Attractive City award, this year's beach volleyball party June 9–14 has a very special host city. Stavanger East was recently named one of three finalists for the Most Attractive City honor that will be awarded in June.

The jury believes Stavanger East (which made the finals along with Lillestrom and Trondheim, represented by St. Olav's Hospital) stands out due to its holistic approach and implementation of sustainable urban planning.
We could not agree more! A lot of exciting things are happening in Stavanger East. The district has long been an intriguing hotbed for creativity and an innovative, urban mindset, including several street-art projects with the Nuart-festival as their curator and driving force. The area has been home to one of Norway's most successful architectural offices for almost a generation, and Tou Scene has for many years tempted art lovers and those with an alternative outlook.
Congratulations to Stavanger East for reaching the final! We applaud you and look forward to checking out the district when enjoying StavangerMajor June 9–14!
